Nature and Deeds

I photographed the opening of an exhibition last night at the (relatively) new Avenue Road Gallery in Portobello.

Here is a selection of shots fromΒ “Nature and Deeds” by Stephen Morris.

It is really worth going to see if you get a chance.

Great exhibition space too!

What would an exhibition be without it?

Sold!

The exhibition was opened by Elaine Grainger from Talbot Gallery and Studios

  1. That looks like it was a fun event and I enjoyed seeing those photos.
The artwork looks quite interesting. Of course some of the art viewers looked quite interesting as well. πŸ˜‰

  2. Thank you for sharing! Wonderful photos; I especially like the girl with the mirror.

  3. Love the fourth photo – I wonder what she’s thinking?

You sure do get out and about!

  4. Really well captured! You’ve got that immersion of people looking at artwork really well, it looks quite odd out of context at times doesn’t it!

  5. Your post got my husband and I talking about building our own studio space so we can pursue our love of painting. I’ve been itching to pick up my paint brushes again.

  6. I always learn something when I am in an art gallery – and I always learn something when I come by for a visit. You captured the essence of the artistic dialogue.

  7. I like the way you present the exhibition atmosphere πŸ™‚

  8. Who is the blonde hair guy? He looks like Andy Warhol’s long lost brother…

  9. It looks like a great exhibition!! Well done…
