This image was captured the split second before I got an unexpected (and very cold!) shower while taking some photos in Dun Laoghaire today.

How wet did you get ???
Well I had a good hat and coat on, so the face took the brunt of the upper half, but I’m afraid there was only a tracksuit beneath so, pretty wet🙂 I had a good laugh at myself and carried on regardless, should have some pics up here on Wednesday night, all going well.
Did the camera get a soaking as well, or did you manage to save it before the water got to it ??? I look forward to see your images…
The camera got a bit wet. I didn’t spare it by ducking for cover… said I’d keep clicking through it🙂
Did you camera get wet???? I am sure that is all photographers are concerned about!!! LOL!
It did, but not too bad. I attended to it immediately. I was far less concerned about myself, it’s true!
Glad your camera is OK!
Thanks Billie – I was slightly stunned🙂
The power of nature, especially water is always underestimated. Waves like this show the beauty and the power. Being able to catch this in a picture… brilliant😀
I look forward to seeing, I know the area fairly well🙂
Thanks, should be up tomrrow night. I will be focusing on the baths.
A True Photographer – you got the shot! And saved the camera. Well done.
Ha! Thanks very much. Dumb luck is a great thing🙂
Beautifully focused (wordplay intended)!
I love this, but I was worried about your camera!
Thanks. It survived just fine!🙂
I am wondering about trading up; cahnging my lovely Lumix G1 for a G3, or even (deep breath) for a second hand G5…
Cool, you’ll be armed and dangerous then, for sure🙂
(handing you a big, fluffy towel) – fantastic shot! Almost flinched, it looked so vivid!
Thanks very much! That towel would have been lovely too🙂
Simply lovely~~ what a beautiful image.
Thanks Felicia, glad you like it.
Good timing Conor! Thank you for posting that Irish weather site FB link — awesome pictures on it. Until I can get to a point to travel to Ireland…pictures will have to “tide” me over…tah dah dum (pardon the pun)😛 Glad I popped in.
Ha! I do enjoy a good pun🙂
